The group of tests we have ordered for you are related to your headache. We have divided the tests into two groups, those related to your brain and those related to your body

EEG measures electrical activity in the brain, MRI can create images of your brain and LP checks for any abnormal fluid in the spine. Second, the tests related to your body: Complete Blood Count (CBC), C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), Thyroid Function Tests, Serum Electrolytes, Serum Protein Electrophoresis, and Cytokine Profile

These tests will help us determine if your headache is caused by something in your body. CBC measures the number of red and white blood cells, CRP measures inflammation, ESR measures how fast red blood cells settle, Thyroid Function Tests measure the activity of the thyroid, Serum Electrolytes measure the balance of electrolytes in your blood, Serum Protein Electrophoresis measures protein components in the blood, and Cytokine Profile measures cytokines, which are proteins released by the immune system

Together, these tests will give us a better understanding of why you are experiencing your headache and what treatment may be necessary.
