How will these tests help?

The group of tests ordered for you can help to understand why you have been experiencing night sweats. By conducting a Complete Blood Count (CBC), C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), and Thyroid Function Tests (TFTs), we can assess your overall health and detect any infection, inflammation, or hormonal imbalance that may be causing your nocturnal perspiration

In addition, we will be using Liver Function Tests (LFTs), Urinalysis, HIV Test, and Tuberculosis Test (TB Test) to evaluate your organ and immune system functioning to help identify the cause of your night sweats. Lastly, the Antinuclear Antibody Test (ANA Test) and Endocrinological Tests (including cortisol and testosterone levels) will be used to assess any underlying autoimmune or endocrine issues

We can group the tests into two groups based on similarity of diagnostic value. The first group includes tests that assess overall health and detect any infection, inflammation, or hormonal imbalance: Complete Blood Count (CBC), C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), and Thyroid Function Tests (TFTs)

The second group includes tests that evaluate organ and immune system functioning, as well as underlying autoimmune or endocrine issues: Liver Function Tests (LFTs), Urinalysis, HIV Test, Tuberculosis Test (TB Test), Antinuclear Antibody Test (ANA Test), and Endocrinological Tests (including cortisol and testosterone levels).
