The group of tests that have been ordered will help us to better understand why you are experiencing weight loss. These tests will allow us to evaluate the various factors that could be causing the loss of weight

Group 1: Complete Blood Count (CBC), C-reactive Protein (CRP), Liver Function Tests (LFTs), Anti-gliadin Antibodies, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP). This group of tests will look at various markers in your blood to determine if there are any abnormalities that could be causing your weight loss

The CBC will look at your red and white blood cell count and the C-reactive Protein (CRP) will measure the level of inflammation in your body. The Liver Function Tests (LFTs) will measure the functioning of your liver and the Anti-gliadin Antibodies will test for any antibodies related to gluten sensitivity

The Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) will provide us with an overall assessment of your metabolism and how your organs are functioning. Group 2: Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Serum Iron, Vitamin B12 and Folate, Electrolyte Panel, Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT)

This group of tests will provide us with important information about your hormones, nutrition, and metabolism. The Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) will measure the level of your thyroid hormones and the Serum Iron will measure the level of iron in your blood, which is important for healthy metabolism

The Vitamin B12 and Folate will measure your levels of B vitamins, which are important for proper metabolism. The Electrolyte Panel will measure the levels of electrolytes in your body and the Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) will measure your bodys ability to process glucose properly

Overall, these tests will help us to better understand why you are experiencing weight loss and develop a treatment plan to help you regain your weight.
