The group of tests you are undergoing will help us better understand why you are experiencing pain in your bones and joints. We will run a Complete Blood Count (CBC) and a Creatinine Kinase (CK) to look for any signs of infection, inflammation, or other medical conditions that may be causing the pain
We will also look at your Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), C-reactive Protein (CRP), and Rheumatoid Factor (RF) to determine if there is any evidence of an autoimmune disease that could be causing the pain. Additionally, we will test your Anti-Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide (anti-CCP) to check for any presence of arthritis that could be causing the pain
We will also measure your calcium, phosphorous, and vitamin D levels to make sure your bones and joints are receiving the nutrients they need, and we will perform imaging tests such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans to look for any abnormalities in your bones and joints that could be causing the pain.
