The first group of tests includes Thyroid Function Test, Complete Blood Count (CBC), Tests for Infectious Agents (Bacterial, Viral, Fungal), Acid Reflux Test (pH Monitoring), Laryngeal Imaging (Flexible Fiberoptic Laryngoscopy), Endoscopic Examination of the Upper Aerodigestive Tract, Allergy Tests, and Voice Analysis (Videostroboscopy). These tests will help us rule out any underlying medical condition, such as thyroid problems, anemia, infectious diseases, laryngeal infections, reflux, allergies, or voice abnormalities, that might be causing your hoarseness of voice
The second group of tests includes CT Scan or MRI of the Neck and Head, and Tissue Biopsy. These tests will help us to identify any structural or anatomical abnormalities that could be causing your hoarseness of voice, such as tumors, cysts, or any other physical anomalies
