We will be running a Complete Blood Count (CBC), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Calcium, Alkaline Phosphatase, Vitamin D, Blood Urea Nitrogen, Creatinine, Phosphorus, Vitamin B12, Magnesium, Iron Studies, Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Liver Function Tests (LFTs), Anti-Nuclear Antibody (ANA), Rheumatoid Factor (RF), and Urinalysis
The tests can be divided into two groups based on similarity of diagnostic value. The first group of tests is designed to identify any underlying conditions that may be causing your bone ache and discomfort
This includes the CBC, ESR, CRP, Calcium, Alkaline Phosphatase, Vitamin D, Blood Urea Nitrogen, Creatinine, Phosphorus, Vitamin B12, and Magnesium. The second group of tests is designed to identify any autoimmune or inflammatory diseases that may be causing your bone soreness
This includes the Iron Studies, Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Liver Function Tests (LFTs), Anti-Nuclear Antibody (ANA), Rheumatoid Factor (RF), and Urinalysis.
