Dengue Test at home

Blood sample collection for dengue test can be done at home by a trained phlebotomist

How is the sample collected?

Sample is drawn from your vein in either arm. A sterile disposable needle is used to draw the sample.

How much blood is required?

Usually 1-3 ml of blood is necessary per tube that is drawn. For a routine dengue test with a platelet count, 2 tubes of blood will be drawn

Do I need to prepare before the test?

Dengue test sample collection does not need any preparation. It can be done at any time, without any fasting requirements.

How much time will the report take to be ready?

Once the sample reaches the lab, the report will be ready within 30-40 mins.

Who will interpret the report ?

A qualified post graduate pathologist will interpret and sign your report.

How can i access the report?

A link to the report is sent to you by email/sms
