The ANA Blot Test checks for 15 different antibodies that attack your own body tissues. It helps doctors identify specific autoimmune diseases like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and mixed connective tissue disease.
When is this test needed
Common symptoms include joint pain, skin rashes, extreme tiredness, and muscle weakness.
What your report will show
ANA Blot Assay / ENA (15 Antigens) — Level of 15 different antibodies in your blood. Measured by immunoblot technique, reported as Positive/Negative for each antigen. Positive results suggest autoimmune disease activity. Normal range: Negative for all antigens.
