What is the Malaria Test
The malaria test detects specific proteins (antigens) produced by malaria parasites in your blood. It can identify different types of malaria including falciparum and vivax, which are the most common forms in India.
When is this test needed
Common symptoms include high fever with chills, severe headache, body aches, and loss of appetite.
What your report will show
Malarial Antigen — Level of malaria parasites in your blood. Measured by rapid antigen test, reported as Positive/Negative. Positive means you have malaria infection. Normal range: Negative.
