What is Arthritis?

Arthritis is the medical term for swelling of joints accompanied with pain. It is usually associated with difficulty to move the joint, and other symptoms like fever.

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis - Pain in joints at base of fingers: This is an autoimmune disease in which the body attacks its own joints. It is more common in women.
